Sustainable development is helping the environment in mind
of the rapid depletion of natural resources. Helping future
generations is very important, and finding eco-friendly fuels is a
critical issue that must be resolved before it is too late.
Recycling materials must be dealt with in present day, so that we
can reduce fossil fuel emissions like CO
2.
My focus for this project is architectural and
as such it was very easy to find prominent designers who use
recycled materials. In the near future, it will
be compulsory for all buildings to be eco-friendly. I envisage
that on a small scale, it will be very easy to salvage materials to
use, but on larger scales it will be much harder to find large
quantities of materials that are eco-friendly.
I have begun my project by experimenting with
paper tubes, and layers. I want to make an architectural structure
but I am still deciding on the purpose and function. I am also
testing out different materials such as recycled wood or plastic
tubing and I will research companies to source them from.
